Georgia Southern Soccer’s Charity Ball
This summer the Georgia Southern Men’s Soccer team took part in a running challenge fundraiser on behalf of Charity Ball. This organization provides new soccer balls and clean water to children in disadvantaged areas around the world.
After the summer’s success we are delighted to be continuing this partnership while also joining forces with our Women’s Soccer program here at Georgia Southern.
Both programs are working towards the collective goal of completely funding a community in Mozambique with all the equipment required to start a soccer program (as well as clean water). The cost of doing so is $2500, we will be striving towards this collective target together.
Please check out Charity Ball’s website to see all the great work they do as well as how far their reach is, and please – if you can – donate to this great cause!
